As soon as Ramadan arrives, everyone starts dreaming about effective weight loss in it. But many less know how to execute the diet plan properly. As some people end up eating quite less, which then results in low energy level and weakness.
So we have come up with some amazing ways to keep yourself fit and hydrated throughout Ramadan.
One of the keys to healthy weight loss in Ramadan is to drink sufficient water. Other fluids like Rooh Afza and Tang can never replace pure water. The best way to keep yourself hydrated is to drink water in the following manner:
- 2 glasses at Iftar
- Four glasses in between Iftar and Suhur
- 2 glasses at Suhur
Detox Water for the Win:
Have you heard of the idiom “hit two targets with one arrow”. This is what you can do. Prepare a litre bottle of detox water consisting of:
- Mint leaves
So instead of drinking plain water between Iftar and Suhur. Drink this water. It will not only keep you hydrated but will help in effective and healthy weight loss.
Eliminate White Sugar:
Eliminating white or processed sugar from your diet must be hell of task to do. Especially for sweet tea lovers. Drinks like Rooh Afza and Tang also contain a large amount of white sugar. Instead you can use Gur or Honey in your fluids.
At Iftar, start with eating lighter foods. Such as dates and almond shake. Take a break and then have your dinner. In this manner your metabolic system is not overloaded and it helps you lose weight effectively.
P.S# Avoiding fried and junk food is must.
Suhur is a Must:
People believe that skipping Suhur may help them in losing weight effectively, but instead what it does is that it makes you more hungry at Iftar. And you end up over eating. Plus, your blood sugar level falls which makes you less energetic and fit.
